Just a quick update to let ye know that im in talks with the city limits comedy club about hosting a night of magic (or something along those lines)  to raise some funds.. Hopefully all goes well, and it could turn into something big with enough planning.. Just wondering would there be much of the group up for getting involved in it... But il let ye know more about it at the next meeting.

Well done Ray, that's great progress! I'd say that there will be a lot of interest from our members and no doubt everybody will be eager to help out in whatever way they can. We'll throw it open to the floor at the next meeting and put a plan in action, maybe get a few people to form a working group to steer the project, again Ray good work keep it up...

I've played a number of the comedy clubs, and would love to get involved. Sounds like fun.

Hey Ray,

May should be a good time for it, not too far away for people to commit to and still enough time to get things organised. I guess you can ask at the next meeting for people interested in performing at it, and see if May suits.

Any news? It's nearly April already. Guys won't be able to commit until they get a date.

Sent Brian from the City Limits about holding the fundraiser some sat in mid June.. He got back to me saying that he doesnt think he could make the place available for a sat night but he might be able do do a Fri.. Told him that would be perfect.. So waiting on him to get back to me with a date.. If June is too early i could always try and push it back to July.. As i said i dont want to start organising stuff until i can get a date to work towards and il stick up a post when i hopefully get a date from Brian (Not the romantic type haha)..

It needs to be June. July is wasting your time. July and August are deat times, so don't get suckered into them. Friday can work, but push for a date so that the planning and promotion can start. Let us know as soon as you can, and we will kick in and do our bit. Tony
